Juliette Labous Claims Her First UCI Win!

Teams/Riders

While many of the other Team Sunweb women were finishing up the final stage of Giro Rosa, Juliette Labous raced for the French national team at the Tour de Feminin. During Sunday’s Queen Stage, Labous conquered five categorized climbs, attacked and won the sprint to secure her first UCI win.

The route took racers over 104.5 km of challenging terrain. In fact, the course was so challenging that after the first climb of the day, only 20 riders remained in the lead group. Labous was patient and waiting for the ideal moment to make her move, just 500 meters before the top of the last climb. With only one rider following her pace, Labous made it a fight to the finish aboard her Liv Envie Advanced Pro team bike.

"I'm really pleased with the result, I was so motivated after an unlucky time trial earlier in the week so it's great to come away with the victory,” said Labous.

Winning such a challenging race is a huge accomplishment for any rider, but Labous impressed her coaches with this outstanding finish in her first year as a pro.
