Recently engaged? Planning your wedding and don’t know where to start? Love bikes?
Caroline, one of our Liv global employees, got married in October 2015. When you love cycling as much as we do at Liv, having a wedding that didn’t involve bikes would be like forgetting to invite your best friend. It turns out, you can make bicycles a big part of your big day every step along the way. Check out Caroline’s bike themed wedding below. Photos by Emily Chidester Photography.
You can find fabulous bike-themed components to your wedding on etsy.com, like this hand-made ring box.
By placing a bucket in the bike basket, Caroline was able to transport her bouquet to the reception via tandem.
Hand-made signs can add a special touch. In addition to the "Just Married" sign, Caroline also invited guests in with "The Adventure Begins," mounted onto herLiv Suede. Learn how to make a bike basket like this one HERE.
With weddings, the little things make it more special. Like, grabbing some chalk board clothes pins, drawing a bike on it, and pinning it right in front of your bike themed engagement portraits. So cute!
Custom printed pint glasses with a bike on it! Each guest got to bring one of these home with them after drinking out of it all night. You can order these at many online dealers, Caroline opted to go local and used a screen printing shop in the town she lives in.
Speaking of going local, Caroline and her husband Will had a local brewery make a beer for their big day. The best part about having your own custom beer? Getting to name it something bike related, of course! (By the way, it is WPA for "Washam Pale Ale")
You can't let guests go away empty handed. Give them a reason to remember your awesome bike themed day every time they crack open a cold one. Bike bottle openers can be found HERE.
There are so many great wedding ideas out there that are sure to let all your guests know just how much you and your parter LOVE YOUR BICYCLES. Where bikes a part of your wedding? Share your photos with us on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter! And don't forget to follow us on Pinterest.
