LINEAR BRAKING CURVE FOR YOUNG RIDERS

The Seek range is engineered to help young riders maintain control—on the flats, on descents, and especially in moments when precision braking is essential. No surprises. Just smooth, dependable stopping when it matters most.

That’s why every Seek follows three simple rules:

1. Easy stops with little hand force.
2. Confident braking, even in the wet.
3. No flipping, even in hard stops.

We calculated the precise braking force kids need to stop safely—factoring in body weight, brake spec, and the 650b wheel system. This “required force” provides reliable braking as kids grow stronger and ride faster.

More braking power isn’t always better—especially for smaller riders. Based on the Seek’s geometry and the rider’s center of mass, we defined a maximum safe threshold. Enough power to stop fast, but not so much that it throws
the rider forward.

Between the minimum and maximum lies the golden zone—youth-optimized braking power that scales with speed,
rider size, and real-world road scenarios. This offers the control kids need to brake confidently in any situation.
