Held in the hilly historic town of Trinidad, Colorado, Crystal Anthony finishes third at The Rad Dirt Fest in the sixth round of the Life Time Grand Prix Series. Anthony raced the 112-mile-long course with 10,400 feet of elevation on the brand-new Devote Advanced Pro, which launched this past week. "It was a great first race aboard my newly redesigned Devote and a successful debut!"
"It was sunny and windy, a fast course with lots of cross winds" reported Anthony of the 30mph winds that plagued the day. "I was relieved to make it to the highest point of the course with a group, having people to work with on the long gradual descents in crosswinds. Paige and I worked together for the remainder of the race. I was able to create a gap through the most rough, technical part of the race with 10 miles to go and hold on to the finish."
This was Anthony's first podium result in a Life Time Grand Prix race, pushing her up to sixth place in the overall points standings of the Pro Women's category. The Liv Racing Collective athlete prepares to head to the final race of UCI Gravel World Championship Series in Italy, October 7th-8th.
