Trans-Cascadia Bike Checks: Intrigue Advanced

The Bikes We Raced at Trans-Cascadia

with KAYSEE ARMSTRONG & CAROLINE WASHAM, Liv Racing MTB Athletes

When gearing up to race a four-day enduro through Washington’s backcountry that includes 6 to 8-hour days on the bike, monster 4,000ft blind descents, and a little too much hike-a-bike, what bike would you choose? For Liv Racing’s Caroline Washam and Kaysee Armstrong, the bike of choice for Trans-Cascadia was a no-brainer. They didn’t need a race bike, they needed an any-trail adventure-machine. They needed the Intrigue Advanced. Check out the full run-down of Caroline's and Kaysee’s bikes below.

Caroline’s Intrigue

“I’ve been riding the Intrigue Advanced since the Sea Otter downhill race in April. Since I’m normally racing my downhill bike or my Pique SX for dual slalom, it’s nice to have one go-to trail bike for anything else I decide to ride throughout the year. For Trans-Cascadia, the Intrigue was the perfect bike – light and agile on the climbs (and hike-a-bikes), while being playful and fast on the descents.” – Caroline Washam
