The 8th annual Emerson’s 3 Peaks Enduro took place November 30 – December 1, beginning with six stages on Saturday in the hills surrounding Dunedin, New Zealand. On day two, riders transfered over to Signal hill for three additional stages.
After wrapping up her 2019 Enduro World Series season at the end of September, Liv Racing’s Rae Morrison took a month off before beginning off-season training and jumping back into local races. Her performance at 3 Peaks Enduro proved she hasn’t missed a beat, dominating the field aboard her Hail Advanced and coming away with the women’s overall win.
“I had a great weekend hanging out and racing a strong women’s field across all age categories,” said Morrison. “This year accompanying me was good friend and Liv rider, Louise Kelly. It was awesome to practice together and push each other on some of the bigger features. I was stoked to take the win and have Louise take second.”
