Advanced Composite Technology
High Performance 등급 카본 원사는 Liv와 GIANT 자체 카본 복합소재 공장에서 카본 재료를 생산하는데 사용됩니다. 수작업으로 생산된 가볍고, 강하면서 유연한 프레임은 다음과 같은 특징을 지니고 있습니다. 소재 1. High Performance 등급 카본 원재료는 뛰어난 무게 대비 강성을 제공합니다. 레진 2. High Performance Formula 레진은 높은 강도와 그 특성들은 유지하면서 기포를 거의 남기지 않는 높은 수준의 진공 최소화 효과를 제공합니다. 또한 진동 흡수 입자를 레진에 첨가하여 노면의 충격을 분산시킵니다. 조립 기술 3. Modified Monocoque Construction: 다운튜브, 헤드튜브, 탑튜브, 그리고 시트튜브로 구성된 프레임의 전면부(Front Triangle)는 이음새 없이 하나의 형태로 조립됩니다. 그 후 체인스테이와 싯스테이를 프레임의 전면부에 결합합니다. 변형 모노코크 구조는 가장 바깥쪽의 카본 시트를 제거함으로써 주행성, 강성, 그리고 강도를 유지하는 동시에 무게는 감소시키는 효과를 가져왔습니다.

GIANT 자전거에 적용된 최신의 스티어러 튜브 기술입니다. 뛰어난 프론트 엔드 스티어링 성능을 발휘하도록 고안된 이 시스템은 대구경 헤드셋 베어링(상단 1 1/4’, 하단 1 1/2’)과 테이퍼 형상의 스티어러 튜브가 접합부에서 작동하여 최적화된 스티어러 강성을 제공합니다.
PowerCore
대구경의 B.B/체인스테이 부분에 완전히 통합된 86mm 너비의 B.B 디자인(오프로드 자전거 92mm)을 적용하였습니다. 비대칭 체인스테이는 드라이브사이드에는 추가적인 강성을, 논드라이브 사이드에는 안정성을 전달합니다.
