After months of grit, consistency, and determination, Liv Racing Collective athlete Melisa Rollins capped off the 2025 Lifetime Grand Prix with a third-place finish overall, cementing her status as one of the most dynamic riders in off-road endurance racing.
The series finale at Big Sugar Gravel in Bentonville, Arkansas, USA, threw riders a last-minute significant change. A forecast of torrential rain and lightning forced organizers to shorten the 100-mile route to 50 miles, transforming the event into an all-out, high-intensity battle through slick terrain.
Even amid the chaos, Melisa proved her resilience. She fought for a position in the front group throughout the race and was right in the mix when the sprint for the line came down. Despite the unpredictable finish, she crossed the line 13th on the day.
“Race morning threw us a curveball when Big Sugar was shortened to just 50 miles, a big shift from what we all expected! With the distance cut down, tactics changed fast, and I knew I wanted to race aggressively and take my shot. I went for it, and while it didn’t quite turn into the win I was chasing,” Melisa shared. “I’m proud of how I raced and how the season came together. Consistency really paid off this year, and I’m beyond excited to finish 3rd overall in the Lifetime Grand Prix”
Her 2025 season has been nothing short of incredible. Melisa notably secured an inspiring second place at the legendary Leadville Trail 100 MTB, an epic victory at Chequamegon MTB Festival, followed by a strong third-place finish at Little Sugar MTB—all standout performances that kept her in overall podium contention.
The Lifetime Grand Prix spans seven of the most iconic off-road events. This season, Melisa raced on the Devote Advanced Pro - showcasing the new limited-edition color and graphics of the Devote Advanced 0 SE at Big Sugar - and the Pique Advanced 29, showcasing the versatility and performance of Liv’s women-first gravel and mountain bike designs across the toughest races in North America.
Congratulations, Melisa, on an incredible season!
