Allysa Seely Back-to-Back Victories at the World Triathlon Para Series!

Allysa Seely secures consecutive wins at the World Triathlon Para Series with outstanding performances in Montreal and Swansea.

Liv Racing Collective athlete Allysa Seely is on a winning streak, achieving back-to-back victories in the PTS2 category at the World Triathlon Para Series. In the most recent event held in Montreal, Canada, Seely triumphed with a time of 1:14:20, racing on the Avow Advanced Pro.

Despite the wet weather and an unfavorable course, she maintained her focus and delivered a stellar performance in Montreal. Seely commented, "Going into this race, I knew the course did not play to my strengths. It was non-technical and flat, favoring other athletes more than myself. I knew I needed to stay as small and aero as possible, not let off the power for one moment, and then have a solid run. The rain and wind made for a welcomed added challenge as I have become very comfortable racing in wet and slick conditions. I got off the bike in second place and knew it was time to go for it. Making up fifty seconds in less than a mile and running to a new race PR felt incredible."

Earlier in June, Seely delivered another outstanding performance at the World Triathlon Para Series in Swansea, Wales. She stated, "I love the technicalities of this crit-style race. You have to stay focused and mentally sharp to perform well. Harsh winds created some challenging moments on the bike, but overall, I am really happy with my race. For me, it is always a challenge to lead from the gun, but I was able to put that out of my mind and perform well. Leading the swim, I nailed my sighting; on the bike, I was able to maintain my power goal and had clean lines on the nearly 60 turns over 20k, and the run came together just as I needed."

With these results, Seely sits in fifth place in the overall series ranking.
