Launched seven years ago, Taipei Cycle d&i awards have become one of the most highly respected design competitions in the cycling industry worldwide. The 2020 winners have been announced and Liv Cycling’s Thrive E+ Pro has taken home top honors for outstanding design achievement.
“This year, the award echo the trends that are responding to global demand, especially the electrification trend, as the industry has invested a lot in the development of e-bikes,” said Francois Liang, chairman of the jury who selected this year’s Taipei Cycle winners.
New to Liv’s e-bike lineup for the 2020 model year, Thrive E+ Pro was praised for its women’s-specific engineering and design that provides natural, yet powerful pedal-assistance with sleek battery integration. Made to have the fast and light feeling of a road bike with the comfort of a flat handlebar, Thrive E+ Pro fills a variety of cycling needs – from assisting with the daily commute to conquering fitness goals. With the same comfortable and efficient frame geometry, PedalPlus 6-Sensor Technology, SyncDrive Pro Motor and integrated EnergyPak Smart 375 battery, Thrive E+ EX Pro is offered with racks, fenders, lights and wider tires in some regions. Availability varies by country.
