Lisa Tertsch wins first place at the World Triathlon Cup Tangier, one week after securing her spot in the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Liv Racing Collective triathlete Lisa Tertsch grabbed the win at the World Triathlon Cup in Tangier, Morocco. Racing on her EnviLiv Advanced Pro, she finished the course with a time of 58 minutes and 46 seconds.

Tertsch's defining moment of the day came during the run leg of the competition when she was able to break away from the pack and clock the fastest run time of the day. "The most memorable part was when I put in a surge on the run and managed to pull away. At that point, I was pretty sure that I could win the race," she recalled after the race.

Sharing her feelings about the win, she said, "I finished first and I am incredibly happy with that result! I felt good in the race, but before I was a little unsure because I had a really hard and important race just one week ago. It was great to have another highlight at the end of the season and leaves me confident for next year."

Tertsch qualified for the Paris Olympics 2024 last week with a fourth-place finish at the World Triathlon Championships in Pontevedra, Spain. This recent achievement took some of the pressure off this week's race but didn’t seem to deter her win. "I was nervous before the race, I wanted to perform well, but there was less pressure this time because I already secured my Olympic spot last week, so everything from then on is just a bonus."

Continue to follow Lisa Tertsch as she wraps up this season of racing and prepares for the Paris Olympics 2024.
