Megan McDonald, our youngest UK Liv ambassador, is an under 23 International Triathlete competing in sprint and standard distances. She is currently located in Loughborough and training at the British Triathlon performance centre, but originally from Leamington Spa and used to work at Giant Leamington Spa. On a part time basis Megan works as a swim teacher and lifeguard and is also dipping her toe into triathlon coaching as she is a newly qualified level 2 coach. Out of season you may see her racing cross country or on the road bike, this year she hopes to incorporate some off-road triathlon races.
Megan started racing Triathlon from the age of 8 and represented GB from the age of 15, with the aim of competing in the World Series. This year she will be riding on the new Langma range. The Langma suits the distance Megan races as her bike leg is usually 40km and features plenty of hills and sharp turns.
