The reviews are in. Cycling media around the world are praising the new EnviLiv for its women-first engineering and race-ready performance.

From glowing reviews by the world's leading cycling publications to the biggest races on the women's calendar, the fourth-generation EnviLiv has quickly established itself as one of the standout aero road bikes of the year. As the Liv AlUla Jayco team prepares to race the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift aboard the new EnviLiv, reviewers have praised its women-first engineering, aerodynamic performance, and confidence-inspiring ride quality.

Purpose-built around Liv's women-first design philosophy, the new range combines aerodynamic performance, lightweight efficiency, and confident handling into a complete performance system engineered specifically for women.

The new EnviLiv range spans three series: the flagship EnviLiv Advanced SL, EnviLiv Advanced Pro, and EnviLiv Advanced. Every model is built around Liv's Total System Engineering approach, optimizing the frame, cockpit, wheels, tires, and rider as one integrated system to reduce total resistance and maximize speed, efficiency, and control.

“The Only Thing Wrong Is That I Don’t Own One”

Cycling Weekly awarded the EnviLiv Advanced SL a five-star review, with tech editor Hannah Bussey declaring: “The only thing wrong with the all-new Liv EnviLiv Advanced SL is that I don’t own one.”

After testing the bike across 130 kilometers of mountainous terrain in southern France and continuing to ride it on the steep roads of the UK’s Peak District, Bussey praised its ability to combine aero speed, low weight, comfort and confident handling.

“The EnviLiv is happy to tackle any road you point it at,” she wrote. “Out of the saddle, it instantly transfers your power into speed, with the chain of command from pedal to wheel feeling immediate.”

Bussey also highlighted the bike’s ability to accelerate quickly and sustain speed while remaining comfortable enough for long rides and responsive enough for shorter, harder efforts. She credited its handling and braking performance with giving her “far more confidence than I’ve had in a long time.”

Her final verdict left little doubt: “It’s fast, comfortable, lightweight, and handles exceptionally well.”

Concluding that the latest EnviLiv had surpassed even her previous favorite Liv race bike, Bussey added: “If I were to buy a superbike, this would be it without hesitation.”

 "A Real Gem"

German cycling publication RennRad called the new EnviLiv "extremely fast, light, yet comfortable," praising its versatility as an aero all-rounder after testing it over approximately 130 kilometers in the mountains around Nice.

The reviewer highlighted the bike's responsive acceleration, confident handling, and impressive comfort, concluding:

"The EnviLiv not only rockets across flat asphalt, but is also a very agile yet comfortable companion on climbs."

Despite initially questioning whether women need a dedicated race bike, Töpper finished her review with a clear takeaway:

"Perhaps the question isn't whether women need their own road bike, but whether the sport needs brands and concepts that broaden perspectives, foster identification, and break down barriers. My answer to that is unequivocal: Yes!"

"What a Bike!"

Dutch cycling magazine Fiets praised the EnviLiv's balanced ride quality after two days of testing in the hills around Nice, describing it as both confidence inspiring and remarkably fast.

Reviewer Aranka Berendse admitted she arrived skeptical about riding a women-specific race bike, but her opinion quickly changed.

"I arrived at the bottom completely euphoric: what a bike!"

She praised the EnviLiv's predictable handling, stability, and lightweight feel, writing that it inspires confidence from the very first ride.

"The EnviLiv is very stiff, predictable in the corners, and extremely stable."

Berendse concluded that the new EnviLiv is "a beautiful, fast bike for a wide target group," whether racing, starting out in road cycling, or simply enjoying long days in the saddle.
