The GP Eco-Struct’s 136.4 flat kilometers consisted of five laps of 21.6km each and ended with four local laps of 7.1km. After a few breakaway attempts, the peloton came back together with just under 3km to go. Liv Racing Xstra rider Rachele Barbieri was positioned well in the final straight and powered to a second-place finish aboard her Langma Advanced SL Disc.
“I am very happy with another podium spot,” said Barbieri. “I was feeling good on the bike all day, so it is a nice way to start back on the road after my track races. It also gives confidence for the next races, I can`t wait to race again next week”, Barbieri told after the podium ceremony.
Liv Racing Xstra will be racing in Spain, the Netherlands and England over the next few weeks.
