Elite and U23 national titles across road and criterium racing highlight a powerful team performance on home soil

Liv AlUla Jayco delivered a statement week at the 2026 Australian Road and Criterium Championships in Perth, claiming elite and U23 national titles across both disciplines in a commanding display of teamwork, depth, and next-generation talent. All three champion riders—Mackenzie Coupland, Ruby Roseman-Gannon, and Lucinda Stewart—competed on the EnviLiv Advanced SL, optimized for aerodynamic performance and maximum power.

Hometown rider Mackenzie Coupland claimed her first elite Australian title with a solo victory in her debut race as a WorldTour rider. Racing on familiar roads in challenging heat, the 20-year-old also secured the U23 national road race title, making it a double triumph in purple.

From the outset, Liv AlUla Jayco controlled the race with confidence. Time trial and criterium medallist Josie Talbot set the tone early by making the day’s breakaway. As the pace ramped up in the closing laps, Coupland attacked with a memorable solo win.

Behind her, Ruby Roseman-Gannon sprinted from the chase group to take silver, securing a gold-and-silver podium sweep for Liv AlUla Jayco.

“It feels honestly amazing to get this jersey,” said Coupland. “I hope I did my teammates proud with this win. I’m very happy.”

Celebrations began earlier in the week at the Australian Criterium Championships, where Roseman-Gannon delivered an aggressive performance to reclaim the elite national title. Lucinda Stewart capped off a dream day by winning the U23 criterium title from the bunch.

“I heard my DS say ‘find a way,’ and I did,” said Roseman-Gannon. “It's the best way to start the year and I want to do this beautiful jersey proud, because it’s the most beautiful jersey I’ve ever worn.”

Stewart added: “We were aggressive from the start and used our numbers just as we planned. It feels great to win. It's a good start to the new year and a confirmation that the form is there.”

Talbot added to the team’s medal tally with a third-place finish in the Elite Australian Time Trial Championships aboard the Avow Advanced SL. Sophie Marr brought home silver in the U23 TT Championships.

Liv AlUla Jayco leave Perth with momentum firmly on their side, showcasing the strength of the team, the power of collective racing, and a new generation of Australian talent ready to shine on the world stage.
