High-performance T-700 raw carbon fiber is used to create this custom composite frame material. It’s woven and processed in Giant’s own composite factory. The frameset is handcrafted with a women’s-specific composite lay-up schedule for targeted stiffness and ride quality.
Designed to offer unprecedented front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 ½” lower, 1 1/4” upper) and tapered steerer tube work in harmony to provide supreme steering stiffness.

Data compiled from Computational Fluid Dynamics research and wind-tunnel tests was used to optimize the shape of every frameset tube and junction for overall system aerodynamics.
SpeedControl SL brake system
This proprietary braking system offers powerful, aerodynamic stopping power. A composite reverse-position front brake and seatstay-mounted rear brake are hidden from the wind. The system also features strategic trailing edges that further improve aerodynamics.
A massively oversized bottom bracket/chainstay area features a fully integrated, 86mm-wide BB design. Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.
Giant’s chainstay integrated, wireless data transmitter. The fully integrated, removable transmitter sends wheelspeed and cadence information directly to any ANT+ compatible computer.
