The final round of the 3-race EWS North American Enduro Series took place Saturday in Big Bear, California at Snow Summit Bike Park. Liv Racing's Isabella Naughton put down smoking times to finish the race in 2nd and grab the series overall win!

Liv Racing enduro athlete Isabella Naughton wrapped the EWS North American Continental Enduro Series in Big Bear, California Saturday with second place in the U21 category. The finish, along with her two wins in Eureka Springs, Arkansas and Revelstoke, BC, Canada earned her the series overall title.

Saturday’s race tripled as the final round of the North American Enduro Series, the penultimate round of the California Enduro Series, and the Fox US Open of Mountain Biking. The weekend drew international talent from a variety of disciplines with dual slalom, downhill, and whip-off events also on deck.

The one-day enduro consisted of five stages, split between the bike park at Snow Summit and trails outside the park. Conditions were dusty and loose, with terrain featuring jumps, berms, and rock gardens. Naughton had a strong race aboard her Liv Hail Advanced, winning stages 4 and 5 in the U21 category, but was unable to make up the deficit to nab the win. Both Naughton and U21 women’s winner Syra Fillat entered the pro women’s ranks for the US Open, where they finished 7th and 5th, respectively, among some of North America’s top pro talent.

“The final round of the EWS North American Continental series was a very challenging race for me with very pedally stages,” said Naughton. “I am very happy to win the overall for U21 women and have learned so much racing this series this year. Can’t wait for what’s next!”

Naughton’s season isn’t over yet. Next up, she’ll head to Zermatt, Switzerland for the final round of the Enduro World Series, followed by the Trophy of Nations enduro in Finale Ligure, Italy.
