Indergand raced to her first win of the season over the weekend in front of a home crowd. The Liv Factory Racing athlete bested the competition by 25 seconds after seven laps of the 3.8 km course aboard her Pique Advanced Pro 29.
“This was the first time PROFFIX Swiss Cup has happened in Rickenbach, and it was a really nice course with great weather,” said Indergand. “Despite not feeling fresh from a cold, I was able to create gaps in the downhills by the second lap and used this to my advantage on the uphills to conserve energy. This worked well and I came away with the win. I am fully focused on recovery ahead of two more pre-season races before the World Cup XCO starts in Brazil in early April.”
