CCC-Liv Introduces Stacked Team for 2020!

Sunday, January 19, 2020

CCC-Liv is back for 2020 with four new athletes poised for exceptional performances during the Women’s WorldTour aboard the Liv Langma Advanced SL and bolstered by Liv performance helmets and footwear.

The CCC-Liv Team is bringing stacked lineup to the peloton in 2020. In the year ahead, 15 of the world’s most promising female road cyclists will be wearing orange – with their sights set on top finishes during the Spring Classics and into the Olympics. Newcomers Sofia Bertizzolo, Soraya Paladin, Marta Jaskulska, and Aurela Nerlo bring versatility and strength to help the team become even more dominant.

“We have had Sofia on our radar for a long time and we are happy that we managed to reach an agreement at the last minute,’ said CCC-Liv general manager and team owner Eric van den Boom. “By winning the youth ranking in the Women’s WorldTour, she has shown that she is a rising talent.”

In 2019, Bertizzolo backed up her youth WorldTour ranking with a stunning fourth place finish at Tour of Flanders and a second place at the opening stage of Emakumeen Bira.

“I am happy to work with top riders like Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio and Marianne Vos and to be able to learn from them,” said Bertizzolo. “In any case, I hope to have a strong season in the Spring and I am convinced that the team can help me to tactically race in a smart manner.”

CCC-Liv’s full 2019 roster, including Marianne Vos and Ashleigh Moolman Pasio, will be back in orange aboard their matte black Liv Langma Advanced SL and EnviLiv Advanced race bikes. With many important races on the horizon in 2020, the team focuses first on the classics such as Strade Bianche, Tour of Flanders, Amstel Gold Race, Flèche Wallonne and Liège-Bastogne-Liège beginning in early March.
