All-new women’s initiatives and talent-filled roster set to light up the 2020 Enduro World Series.

Liv Cycling has signed up to be the Enduro World Series’ official women’s partner and will post the 2020 championship’s only all-female line-up. Liv will also be running a range of women’s rides at every round.

The move is aimed at building on what is already a vibrant women’s field whilst offering an environment in which riders can get together and ride for fun outside of the competitive maelstrom of racing.

The multi-discipline Liv Racing squad was established in 2019 with 14 riders with riders competing in some of the world’s biggest bike races. Heading into the new season, three more names have been added meaning that seven different nations are now represented on the team.

The 2020 Liv Racing enduro team roster looks like this:

Rae Morrison (Nelson, New Zealand)
Leonie Picton (Whistler, BC, Canada)
Isabella Naughton (Flagstaff, USA)
Riley Miller (Burke, USA)

Liv Racing is heavily involved in aiding the company in the development of the next generation of bike technologies to help women to optimize power and control whilst mitigating fatigue on their next ride. They will be racing on board the brand’s latest Hail Advanced enduro bikes which will be prepared by their mechanic, Jessica Brosseau, whilst the team will be managed by Liz Walker.

“I am beyond excited to be part of Liv Racing and to support the women pushing the limits of their sport,” said Liz Walker, Liv Racing team manager. “We are excited to watch these athletes perform on the global stage at EWS this year."

Walker’s sentiments were echoed by Liv Cycling’s Global Marketing Manager, Brook Hopper.

“We are committed to the advancement of women in cycling, and through Liv Racing and our role as the official women’s partner of the EWS provides us an important opportunity to connect with more riders around the globe,” Hopper said. “Being the only all-women’s EWS sanctioned team makes us extremely proud. We hope this inspires more work to elevate women in cycling as we believe that together, we can achieve equality in sport."

Enduro World Series Managing Director, Chris Ball, added his thoughts on the announcement of the new partnership.

“This is a really exciting development for everyone at the Enduro World Series,” he said. “Liv has built a reputation as one of the world’s most-respected bike brands and we’re looking forward to being involved with something that will bring another enjoyable social element to our events.”

Details of the Liv Women’s Rides will be found in each round’s Racebook and registration will be available on-site. The first round of this year’s Enduro World Series kicks off in Manzilaes, Colombia 27 & 28 March.
