Happy Birthday Liv York!

Liv York welcomed a full house of guests to celebrate their 1st Birthday Party on Thursday 8th November. Guests from Yorkshire’s cycling scene enjoyed nibbles, bubbles and special discounts at Liv Cycling’s first boutique store dedicated entirely to women’s cycling.

The event was also the perfect opportunity for Liv Cycling UK to launch the hotly anticipated Enviliv Advanced Pro Disc range which complete the performance line up for 2019. All three of the blazingly-quick aero race machines made a special appearance for an exclusive viewing on the night.

There were many familiar faces including those who supported the launch of Liv York a year ago, and representatives from the groups and clubs that Liv York works with to raise the profile of women’s cycling. This included the Yorkshire Lass Cycling Club, Breeze Champions, Barmby Moor Pink Ladies, Ladies that Tri, Yoga Revolution and Liv York’s own Ambassadors.

Nicola Doody, Store Manager, said;

“It is such a pleasure to host this party, as a real celebration of the vibrancy of the women’s cycling scene in Yorkshire. When we opened, we really wanted to create a ‘hub’ for women’s cycling and we couldn’t have done this without the support of so many inspiring individuals. A huge thank you to everyone who supports our events and rides, not to mention our wonderful customers who let us share in their cycling experiences!”

Since opening last November, the Liv York team have hosted lots of events and workshops including Pilates classes, regular Club Rides, Strength and Conditioning sessions and hugely popular panel-hosted events such as Q&A: Getting into Cycling and Q&A: An Intro to Tri.

Their next event, Winter Ready: A Trio of Workshops takes place on Tuesday 20th November, 7pm – 8.30pm. For further information, click here.
