Marketing & GRA Specialist
LOCATION: North Vancouver, British-Columbia (No remote working option available).
We are seeking a talented and experienced Marketing and GRA Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate should be creative, detail-oriented, and able to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive results. Familiarity with the cycling industry is a definite plus.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a passionate and innovative Marketing Specialist to join our team in the cycling industry. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the marketing efforts that promote our cycling products, events, and brand to a broad audience of cycling enthusiasts, athletes, and outdoor adventurers. Whether it's road biking, mountain biking, e-bikes, or cycling accessories, your role will be integral in crafting compelling marketing strategies and content to elevate our presence in the cycling community.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing, content creation, and consumer behavior within the cycling or outdoor sports industry. A genuine passion for cycling is a must!
GRA (Giant Retail Academy)
- Work within the Dealer Training Platform (GRA) building out lessons, modules and certifications for Giant retailers and Staff.
- Create incentives and programs to increase engagement.
- Main contact with stakeholders regarding content, management and implementation.
Digital Marketing – 4 Brands (Giant, Liv, CADEX, Momentum)
- Manage and grow Giant, Liv, CADEX and Momentum’s social media presence on Facebook and Instagram, ensuring content aligns with brand messaging and audience engagement goals. Use Global and localized schedules for posts, promotions and sales.
- Communicate with Consumers and followers through direct messaging and respond to consumer issues and requests.
- Develop weekly newsletters in Klaviyo, crafting content that resonates with the brands community and builds brand loyalty.
- Create and optimize Meta ads to drive brand awareness and sales.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on content performance and campaign effectiveness, implementing insights to enhance future strategy.
- Use Google ads to target consumers and record results through GA4 platform.
- Build Tiktok and emerging social media channels for all brands.
Event Support
- Work with marketing team to support consumer and dealer events across Canada including Crankworx, Liv Events, Mountain Bike World Cups, Dealer Connect Events.
- Sponsorship and Ambassador Support
- Work with Athletes, Ambassadors and Influencers across all brands to create content and manage partnerships.
- Manage Liv Ambassador Program nationwide through our Dealers.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in marketing, communication, or similar field.
- Thorough knowledge and demonstrated experience in social media and digital campaigns.
- Strong written and visual communication skills, with an eye for detail and a passion for cycling.
- Demonstrated ability to be creative and innovative.
- Proficient in all major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube).
- Familiarity with Klaviyo, Meta ad platforms, GA4, MS Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent project management skills, capable of balancing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Collaborative and proactive, with a strong ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with retailers and ambassadors.
- French Language an asset.
