Ronja Blöchlinger continues her impressive winning streak, securing her sixth consecutive victory in the U23 XCC Cross-country short track at the UCI XC Mountain Bike World Series. The Liv Factory Racing athlete has proven to be unstoppable this season and remains the overall points leader of the new U23 XCC category.
The sixth round of the series took place on Thursday at Les Gets, in the Haute Savoie region of France. Blöchlinger finished the demanding course on her Pique Advanced Pro 29 with a time of 18:19. Employing similar strategies used in past races, she stayed close but ahead of the pack during the race, maintained a strong second-place, and showcased her lightning speed with a sprint in the final lap.
Blöchlinger reflected on her winning strategies, saying, "It feels great to have another short track win. I was able to stay ahead of the pack without needing to push too hard. It came to an all-out last lap where I was in second place. I worked to get out in front and make a small gap which I was able to hold until the finish."
The Swiss superstar returns to the track for the U23 XCO this Sunday, in the last race of the European leg before heading to North America for the final two stages of the World Cup series.
