Linda Indergand's Pique Advanced Pro 29
On July 6, 2022, ahead of her home UCI World Cup race in Lenzerheide, Switzerland, Linda Indergand was surprised with a new Pique Advanced Pro 29. The design was created to commemorate Linda's bronze medal acheivement at the Tokyo Olympics.
Elements of the Swiss and Altdorf flags as well as the landscape of Lake Lucerne were worked into the design by Giant Group's Jo Lai, who found inspiration in Japanese art traditions. A unique feature of the bike is the Japanese art of Kintsugi, which is the process of repairing broken pottery with gold to make new and whole again. On Linda's bike, gold is replaced by bronze. Kintsugi is also a metaphor calling us to recognize and embrace our flaws and imperfections, using them also as a catalyst to come back stronger and better.
