What is your biggest achievement? | Learning how to cycle - everything else is just an extension of where that cycling has taken me. |
---|
Why do you love cycling? | I love the social side: a chance to spend quality time with friends or get to know more amazing human beings. I love the physical side: witnessing my body becoming stronger, the adrenaline, and the beautiful places it takes me. I love the mental side: the empowerment, confidence, and state of calm it leaves me with and the determination it gives. |

Why do you love riding for Liv? | It is a true privilege and honour to be part of a family that shares my passion for cycling, and more importantly, shares the desire to share it with others: the dream to create a world with more women experiencing the delight and benefits that cycling/sports brings with it. It is refreshing and energising to be surrounded by everyone I have met at Liv so far. |

What is one item you would never leave home without? | It is said it is a miracle that I don't leave myself behind every time I leave the house... any other item I take with me is thereby a bonus. |

If you could learn a new sport or skill this year, what would it be? | Either a new language or mountain biking. A new language because each language is a doorway to a whole new world, a stronger connection with more people, and a tool to learn and appreciate other ways of life. Mountain biking, because for me it's that test to over come fears. It is that tool to take me deep in the heart of mother nature in a way that a road bike isn't able to. |

What is your favorite place to travel? | Anywhere off the beaten track, especially in the heart of Mother Nature. Afghanistan has been a lifelong dream. |
---|
What is your favorite food? | My favourite food is that which is shared with others. |
---|
Who is your favorite riding partner? | What's today's mood? Sometimes, people to chase their wheels and push my limits Other times, people to explore new routes, sing, sway, laugh and have fun with. Sometimes those dearest and nearest Other times complete strangers. All nourishing and favourable in their own way and form. |
---|
How do you spend your time off the bike? | Either plotting mischief, or getting into mischief. |
---|
What do you want to be "when you grow up"? | I want to be a kid when I grow up. Curious, inquisitive, fearless, innocent, thirsty to learn, resilient... a blank slate itching to develop into anything it dreams of becoming. |

Words you live by... | Its a verse in a poem by Hatif Isfahani: دل هر ذره را که بشکافی/ آفتابیش در میان بینی You will find a light shining in any 'particle' you unveil. |
