|Birthdate:||January 17, 1994|
|What is your specialty on the team?||Spring Classics|
|What is your biggest achievement?||It’s not really what everyone would expect but there is always 1 moment that stays with me and it's from a kermessenrace. It was a goodbye race for Liesbet de Vocht, a very good Belgian rider. I was still a young rider on a small team. And in that race, all the big names were present like Marianne Vos, Annemiek van Vleuten, Lucinda Brand, Thalita de Jong, Iris Slappendel, Jolien d’Hoore,... etc. The race was so fast, but I could follow and was in the front group with all those big names. The whole peloton was taken out of the race because we were so far in front. It's a feeling I will never forget.|
|What is your biggest non-cycling achievement?||Living on my own. Its not so easy in women's cycling to be able to make a living from it, but I’m happy I can, and hope it will continue to grow.|
|What is your professional goal for 2019?||Becoming Belgian Champion, helping the team as much Is i can, and good results in the Flemish spring classics.|
|What do you love about cycling?||The feeling. I enjoy every moment of it. On my bike, I feel free, and it's a moment where I can think about everything but at the same time, it's a moment where you don’t have to think about anything.|
|Why do you love riding for Liv? ||Liv is very stylish and very good quality. This is my first year riding for Liv, so far I really, really like it.|
|What is your favorite place to travel?||Home, I’m away a lot during the year. I don’t count the days I’m home, but I'm sure it isn’t a lot so I always like to travel back home.|
| What is your favorite food?||Porridge with banana and cinnamon (lots of cinnamon ;D )|
|Who is(are) your favorite riding partner(s)?||My teamies, of course. You have the same passion and the same team so it's always fun to ride with them. And my girlfriend. She is a BMX rider, so we don’t ride a lot together, but sometimes we do a coffee ride and those are of course always fun too.|
|"When I'm not riding my bike, I'm ______!"|
I’m reading. I always try to upgrade my knowledge about cycling or sports in general.
|What are the top 3 things on your "bucket list"?|
Open some kind of a sportscentre (related to cycling).
Trip around the world.
|Who taught you how to ride a bike/ got you into the sport of cycling?||No one, I just kinda got into it. I always did a lot of sports and liked every one of them. But then suddenly it was cycling and I kept doing it for 12 years now. It had a big impact. I started to live healthfully, and I pretty much can't go without it anymore.|
|Have you taught anyone how to ride a bike or introduced someone to the sport?||I never taught someone how to ride a bike, but its something I want to do. Inspire people and motivate them to get on the bike and just ride.|
|How do you plan to pass on your love of cycling in 2019 and beyond?||Together with my girlfriend, we have plans to start something BMX and cycling related giving camps and lessons. It's for the future but we are definitely thinking about something like that.|
|Words you live by...||A day not laughed is a day not lived. I have a tattoo from it on my neck. Try to enjoy life as much as possible.|
