What is your professional goal for 2019? | To be better, faster, stronger in particular in classic races. |
What do you love about cycling? | Being outside, the battle with yourself, your legs and mind. Enjoying time with friends & to discover beautiful places by bike. |
Why do you love riding for Liv? | Because LIV is not only about riding bikes as fast as possible, it’s about sharing your passion with other women, enjoying some time outside, in nature and discover some new places. |
What is your favorite place to travel? | Italy |
What is your favorite food? | Italian food (pasta, pizza, tiramisu!!) |
Who is(are) your favorite riding partner(s)? | My boyfriend is always good company. Besides that, we ride at least one day a week with the Amsterdam group. It’s a group of guys (10-20) all professional cyclist. Training hard, but always time to stop for coffee. |

What are the top 3 things on your "bucket list"? | Visiting some beautiful countries where I haven’t been yet, like Canada, Mexico & Brazil. Make a trip with my best friends. Visit a festival. |
Who taught you how to ride a bike/ got you into the sport of cycling? | My dad was a cyclist. He started as a soccer player but when he injured his knee he moved to cycling. When I was young I joined him every weekend to the races. That’s where it all started. |
How do you plan to pass on your love of cycling in 2019 and beyond? | My boyfriend is starting his own club. It’s focused on beach-racing and MTB marathon and we start from 1-1-19 on. We want to make the sport bigger by organizing events and clinics to introduce people to the sport. |
