What I love most about cycling are the adventures the bike always takes you on and the amazing people you meet along the way. The smiles, the laughter, the life-long friends who are always encouraging you to do your best and so excited when you succeed. I love the adrenaline rush you feel while racing and the sense of accomplishment you get when all your hard work pays off.

What are the top 3 things on your bucket list?
Who taught you how to ride a bike/ got you into the sport of cycling?
Both my parents Robert Naughton and Amber Tinstman taught me how to ride a bike when I was probably 3 years old. They put me in Moto gear and took me to the top of a hill and that’s how I learned. Growing up, I didn’t like riding my bike but about 3 years ago I was talked into participating in the NICA series. I ended up falling in love with riding and the rest is history. I cannot imagine what my life would be like if hadn’t found a love for cycling, it has impacted me in so many good ways and I am so thankful for it and thankful that my parents never gave up on trying to get me to like riding my bike.
Have you taught anyone how to ride a bike or introduced someone to the sport?
I haven’t taught someone how to ride a bike or really introduced anyone to the sport but at my high school races I have had parents come up to me saying I truly inspired them and their little girl who now wants to race NICA when she is old enough.
How do you plan to pass on your love of cycling in 2019 and beyond?
I really want to figure out a way to help make girls cycling even bigger and better. I haven’t figured it out yet, but I’m always brainstorming.
