Our SyncDrive Move Plus motor provides you with the most analog bike-like power support possible. This is cool because...you get all the benefits of riding an electric bike while keeping that joyful road bike feeling we all know and love.

POWERFUL (YET PETITE)

Ready to talk torque? This rear hub motor has a maximum of 30 Nm which is comparable to 75 Nm in a mid-drive motor, providing all the power you need to (out) perform on the road. But don’t associate power with bulk because it weighs in at just 1.7 kg (3.75 lbs).

NEED TO REMOVE THE REAR WHEEL? NO PROBLEM.

If you need to remove the rear wheel, including the motor, for transportation it’s easy. Simply use the quick-release thru-axle. No faff. No hassle.

AN AUTHENTIC RIDE

Thanks to its seamless and smooth power assistance, this E-Road bike closely emulates the experience of riding an analogue road bike. The electric support empowers you to reach impressive speed limits: 45 km/h (28 mph) in the US, 32 km/h in Canada, and 25 km/h in other regions worldwide.

SyncDrive Move

The SyncDrive Move literally moves the motor to the rear hub of the bicycle. Found in our youth bike range, this compact motor delivers 30Nm of torque for a smooth, confidence-inspiring ride. It features 3 support modes to help young riders climb with less effort. For kids’ safety the power mode will stay on for only 10 seconds, serving as a fun boost. It also features Smart Assist technology which uses five sensors to determine a smooth and natural pedaling support.

Drawing from over 50+ years of bike manufacturing expertise, we’ve engineered an electric road bike that delivers natural and seamless power support. Here are five scenarios of how it works during your ride:

#1 Starting off

When you first start pedaling from a static position the motor gradually increases the power. This gives you a nice smooth start with no sudden surge of power.

#2 Smooth deceleration

When you stop pedaling, the motor gradually reduces support to avoid a sudden feeling of power loss.

#3 Speed limit optimization

For safety, electric bikes have a speed limit. So power assistance stops when you reach that limit. However, we aim to give you an authentic road cycling experience without making you feel impacted by the speed limit. To achieve this, we’ve designed the motor to avoid any sudden loss of power support. Instead, it gradually eases off a few kilometers before you reach the speed limit, ensuring a smooth and seamless transition. When you reach the speed limit, simply slow down slightly to fall just below it. The motor will then smoothly re-engage power, allowing you to continue your ride without any sudden interruption.

#4 Battery range optimization

With innovative adjustments to power usage throughout your ride, the battery range is optimized without sacrificing performance or ride quality. When you’re cruising with minimal pedaling effort, the motor automatically reduces power output slightly, saving battery life and extending your range. When you speed up or climb after cruising, the motor adjusts to gradually provide you with more power.

#5 Enjoy an extra Boost

For premium E-Road bikes, we’ve introduced a boost assist within the highest support level, Power mode. When you’re in Power mode, and the motor detects you’re pedaling hard but your speed is slow—like when riding into a headwind or climbing— it automatically activates boost and, voila, your ride just got much easier. Trust us, this boost assist will quickly become your best friend on those challenging climbs.
