Sidney McGill joined the ranks of Liv at the beginning of 2020, as part of the Pedalhead Bicycle Works team. Due to Covid-19, Sidney had a short mountain bike season, being only able to ride her Pique Advanced Pro 29 0 at a few local XC races. However, it's with a lot of determination that our U23 Canadian CX National Champion recently managed to make her way to Europe, racing her first elite cyclocross races along with the best athletes in the world, abroad Liv's new carbon cyclocross bike, the Brava Advanced Pro 0.

"Belgium has been amazing! First up was the Superprestige Boom race on December 6th, followed by Badkamers Trofee Antwerp and Superprestige Gavere the following weekend. These races have been my first CX races in over a year and it has been a savage wake-up call for my legs. Nothing like going straight up against the best women in the world for your first race of the year! I have been able to learn and improve with each race and I'm now preparing for my first World Cup, Namur this Sunday, December 20th. I feel very grateful I've been able to race during these times and I'm happy to see all the safety protocols put in place, although the COVID tests are going to take some getting used to!"
