The below policies apply to purchases made through the Liv Cycling Canada Online Webstore ONLY. Any purchases or pre-orders made directly with a retailer (including Giant Branded Stores) are subject to the return policies of the independent retailer. Gear

GEAR Return Policy

You can return new, unopened Gear item(s) with all original packaging and/or tags within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We do not charge any restock fee. This excludes clearance and sale items which are final sale, as well as any and all Bicycles. See below for Bicycle Return Policy.

Any merchandise that shows signs of use (wear, dirt, smell, scuffing, mounting, installation, etc.) cannot be returned. This includes any items that have been “tested out”. Items for which the packaging has been destroyed are not returnable.

Unless otherwise noted, the refund will be for the full value of the returned items. Shipping and overage fees will not be refunded. Returns will be inspected by Giant Bicycle Canada within 72 hours of receipt.

To initiate a return, please follow the steps below.

You can chose to have us prepare the shipping label at this time, or use your preferred courier later.
Step 3When you receive your Return Authorization prepare the package to be returned
Step 4Return the package using your choosen method

METHOD 1

Attach the pre-paid Purolator shipping label downloaded from your RA email

Drop the parcel off at your nearest Purolator location

A $9.99 shipping charge will be deducted from your refund

Use your preferred courier to ship the package to:

Please do not tape anything to the product box. Do not use the product box as a shipping container as it will be damaged during transit and rejected by our returns department. You may use the original shipping container. Giant Bicycle Canada will not be responsible for lost or stolen “in-transit” items. Any COD returns will be refused.

GEAR Cancellation Policy

Gear can be cancelled up until the time that it is picked up by the courier. Please note that there is a delay between the package being picked up and receiving the email with tracking information. Giant can not guarantee that you will be able to cancel an order. Once the package is in the possession of the courier the Gear item(s) it will need to returned following the above return procedure.

GEAR Exchanges

Unfortunately, we do not process exchanges. To conduct an exchange, please return the item using the above procedure and place a new order for the correct item.

Bicycles

BICYCLE Restock Fee

Any bicycle(s) shipped from the Giant Canada Warehouse (ie not purchased from dealer stock) may be subject to a 15% restocking fee (pre-tax). The restock fee will only be charged if the chosen pickup location does not keep the shipped bicycle(s). Shipping and overage fees will not be refunded. This applies to cancelled and/or returned bicycles.

BICYCLE Cancellation Policy

Bicycle(s) may be cancelled if they have not been picked up from the chosen retailer. Giant Canada will refund the full value of the bicycle minus any potential restocking fees.

BICYCLE Return Policy

Bicycle(s) may be returned to the Retailer at which the bike was picked up from for a refund from Giant Bicycle Canada. The Bicycle must be in NEW condition and that condition is at the sole discretion of the retailer to determine. Bicycle(s) that show sign(s) of being ridden, including, but not limited to, dirty tires or grips, worn brake pads, scuffed crankarms may not be returned.

For all accepted returns Giant Canada will refund the full value of the bicycle purchase minus a 2% processing fee and any potential restocking fees.

Your Refund

Your refund will be processed by Giant Bicycle Canada within 72 hours of approval. Depending on your credit card company it may take an additional 2-10 business days before a credit is posted to your account.  Please note: the Authorized Giant Dealer cannot process the refund directly, it must be processed by Giant Bicycle Canada via the same online method as purchased.
