The patented Boa system provides custom comfort with smooth, precise closure that is lightweight and durable. The easy-to-use knobs lets you dial in the perfect fit without the added weight and hassles of other closure systems.
Works in harmony with the ExoBeam to produce a unique 360-degree foot enclosure for a fit that feels customized. The design optimizes foot support by pulling up on the arch, which helps improve power transfer, comfort and efficiency.
Injection molded TPU elements throughout the sole protect the carbon ExoBeam plate from wear while off the bike. An injection molded toe guard protects the front of the shoe from trail obstacles to improve durability.
Built-in flex zone allows the toe area of the shoe to move independently of the main ExoBeam carbon sole to optimize the natural flex of the toes and reduce heel slip on and off the bike. Decreased heel slip means less of a chance of chaffing and foreign objects like small rocks entering the shoe.
A unique composite beam creates sole technology that provides stiffness in the forefoot, where most of a rider’s power is applied. This stiffness with strategically engineered flexion zones reduces tension and strain in the lower leg. The result is enhanced power transfer, a more precise fit and optimized efficiency.
A microfiber synthetic upper offers superior support at an extremely low weight while conforming to virtually every foot type. A removable dual-density EVA insole with ventilation at the front of the shoe, features TransTextura Plus antimicrobial technology to help keep shoes feeling new and fresh.
