Sunday Gravel Rides - Presented by Liv Vancouver

Fall is upon us, and we are craving some good old gravel riding. Join us for a fun, fitness-focused group ride on trails and dirt roads.

When: Sundays, Nov 22,29 and Dec 6,13, 2020

Time: Departing the store at 8am, finishing around 11am

Cost: $5 donation

What you get: A quality, led, no-drop women's group gravel ride aimed at fitness, fun, skills development.

Must pre-register here. Rides are capped at 10 participants. 

Is this ride for you? At Liv Vancouver, we want to create opportunities for women to ride more and find a community of other women to ride with. This Sunday ride is an intermediate level, no drop fitness ride, from 8:00am to 11:00am. Our goal is to train and get stronger, but this is not a race-minded hammerfest. However, riders should be prepared for 2 hours of steady riding where intermediate skills on a cyclocross come in handy. After all, it's all about getting out there, challenging yourself on the bike. We ask that all riders have at least a basic knowledge of the dynamics of group riding, especially on trails.

We will ride rain or shine so long as we have a minimum of riders signed up, but obviously not if conditions are dangerous (ie. ice, snow, strong winds).

Bring: All riders should have a gravel or cyclocross bike with drop bars. Riders are responsible for ensuring that bikes are in good, working condition. Riders must supply their own snacks, water, and a repair kit in the event of a flat tire.
