Tell us a bit more about you. How did you discover cycling?

I met my now husband who helped me buy a bike and was patient with me and encouraged me to believe in myself. I then got linked with the brother and there dad at Giant who provided an opportunity for me to be an ambassador and then develop a Liv team of female racers that was absolutely amazing. I learned many transferable skills and then developed in a racer who aspires to empower and inspire my community to use cycling and sport to build confidence resilience and a way to cope with mental health challenges. The community I have found are my family and constant support and I couldn’t be more grateful or content.

According to you, how can bike shops be more welcoming for women?

Have staff be knowledgeable of what women need, have a wide variety of women specific options for bikes, apparel, and accessories, ask about women and get to know us, be personable! Not assume you know what we need and want!

How would you like to support your partner Liv retailer?

Speaking engagements, post on my store social media - have an about me section, have my input of what the store should look like, work on developing some opportunities and events this spring/summer geared towards women, have my store support or be present at bike events which could encourage women to come in!

What aspect of Liv resonates with you the most?

The fact that Liv is developed by women who don’t assume we are all the same. The brand is empowering and bold and stands out as WE should!

What's a major project you would like to achieve as a Liv Ambassador in 2026?

I would like to find a way to take on a mentorship project where I provide skills, mental and emotional support, regular communication and even meet-ups backed by Liv. Perhaps them get a helmet and goggles and gloves and kit to ride and race in - so some sort of support from Liv and me to collaborate and join them to help build confidence, exposure, education, and just a unique little opportunity! Bike discount? I dunno just someone who can be the beginning of something social. I want to tie my racing and psychotherapy with Liv! The Brand that has supported me from day 1!
