Favorite bike | My new Liv Intrigue Advanced Pro 29! This bike looks and feels badass. It has a geometry tailored for my body and can handle any trail adventure I want to take on, whether that be climbing and descending, or tackling some really technical features, be it rocks, techy single track, or even big jumps. This bike is capable of a wide mix of terrain and totally suits my "up for anything" personality. |

Favorite place to ride | I love riding the local trails in my hometown of Barrie, ON. We are so lucky to have amazing trails and terrain to ride in Southern Ontario. There are endless options to explore and ride. I truly appreciate all of the hard work, time and dedication the volunteers in our community put forth to help support, maintain and build our trail systems. Without them, our trails wouldn't exist. Thank you! I am excited to see what future trail building projects are on the horizon. My favorite trail is Hickling. It's a fast and flowy single track with some rad descents. It's so fun and a great workout if you enjoy interval training. One day I hope to make it to Bentonville. I keep hearing about the 28 miles of award-winning mountain bike trails. I MUST check it out. |

Must-have cycling accessory | There are so many! My pack usually consists of these essentials: My Shokz OpenRun Bone Conduction Headphones. If you know me, you know I love music. Music clears my head, heals my heart, lifts my spirits and fires me up on my rides! I am currently creating an MTB Playlist on Spotify. I hope to share these tunes with my fellow riders soon! My other "must-have" is snacks, lots of snacks! I am a big "Foodie" and healthy snacks provide me with the energy I need to keep on riding. I am currently curating a list of MTB recipes to share at our "Nutrition for Cyclist" event. My Garmin watch. With a recent diagnosis of a heart condition, the incident detection feature provides me with the comfort of knowing I can be tracked in any emergency situation. A pair of funky hi vis socks to rock your MTB attire is always fun! |

When I am not riding | When I am not riding my bike, you can find near the water watching the sunrise or sunset. I love stand up paddle boarding, particularly on the nights I can stargaze under the full moon light. Even off the bike I continue to explore new trails, hiking or walking while I listen to a podcast. In the Winter months I am on the hill snowboarding or in the forest snowshoeing. I am passionate about living a healthy holistic lifestyle. I practice yoga, breathwork and meditation and I love cooking plant-based meals. My side hustle and passion are being a Holistic Lifestyle Coach and Business Mentor to women. I get so much joy from empowering women to love themselves deeply, starting with their heart, tapping into their love and bringing their core desired feelings to life. But nothing compares to the simple pleasure of riding a bike. Mountain biking has allowed me to nurture a healthily state of mind, body, spirit and heart. I feel so blessed to be able to live this wonderful life and spend time doing all of the things I love, while sharing these magical moments and adventures with the people closest to my heart. Truly grateful! |

Life Goal | I am super stoked to support Liv's mission to get more women and girls excited to ride bikes and be able to experience and feel the same joy I do. This will be my first year guiding and leading a group of women. I am truly fortunate to be able to represent a brand that celebrates and encourages women in this sport. I am looking forward to helping grow the Liv cycling community by bringing women together to ride bikes and have fun in an inclusive environment where they feel confident, supported and safe while experiencing the joy of riding. |

What I ride | Mountain Bikes - I never thought I’d ride a bike again after I was hit by a car riding my 10-speed home from a friend's house when I was a kid. Luckily, I had just a few cuts and bruises and some minor internal bleeding but I was ok. I didn’t ride my bike again after that accident until 2 years ago when I was re-introduced to mountain biking and an amazing community of MTB riders. Despite my fears, I hopped back on the bike and I’ve been hooked ever since and I love every moment of it. I’m so grateful for the new friends I’ve made and I’m damn proud of the new skills I’ve learned. |
