I discovered "real" mountain biking when I moved to BC from Winnipeg 20 years ago!  I started out slowly, but soon became hooked.  At the time, there were not a lot of female riders.  As the popularity grew, I had many females asking me for tips.  This is when I decided to get my coaching certification, my passion now is getting more women on bikes, feeling confident and safe!

I started out mostly DH and gradually have fallen in love with tackling the tough climbs.  I love riding for my health and to be a good role model for my kids, by showing them nature and an active lifestyle.  I look forward to the day when I can't keep up to them!

When I am not ridingI love teaching MOSSA Group fitness classes and being a mom to 2 mini-mountain bikers. Somewhere in there I find some time to work as well.... But riding is always on my mind.
Life GoalTo be healthy, happy and a good mom!
What I rideI love riding technical cross country, tackling those nasty roots. We have some great "old school" trails at our UNBC trail network. I like getting some good cardio, but I also like getting some airtime on the downhills and in the bike parks, Silverstar is my fav! PG also has some great fat-biking, including the 18km Greenway trail from UNBC to otway, which gets groomed a few times throughout the winter.
