A tactical race and podium finish for Ronja Blöchlinger at the World Cup in Lenzerheide, Switzerland.

Ronja Blöchlinger secures a third-place finish on home soil in the Elite Cross-country Short Track (XCC) at the UCI World Cup in Lenzerheide, Switzerland. The Liv Factory Racing athlete crossed the line with a time of 20:28 on her Pique Advanced 29, just 21 seconds behind the winner.

Taking place at the Bike Kingdom Alpine resort in the town of Lenzerheide, which sits at an elevation of 1,400m (4,593 ft). The high-altitude race, consisting of 9 laps, intensified from the second lap, with Blochlinger breaking away into the leading group. “I had a good start, I knew it would take one and a half laps to get to the front,” she explained. “Once I was there, I tried to recover, and I was always in third place. The other two leaders were a bit stronger today, so I adjusted my tactics and focused on maintaining third place. It worked out in the end, and I am super happy with my result!”

In the U23 XCC, Liv Factory Racing teammate Tyler Jacobs also delivered a strong performance, finishing fourth in a tight race to the line, just one hundredth of a second off second place. Following her podium finish at last week’s World Cup XCC event.
