Tyler Jacobs claimed her first World Cup win in Lake Placid — and gave Liv’s new Pique Prototype a dream debut.

The roar of the crowd echoed through the Adirondacks as Tyler Jacobs sprinted down the finishing straight to claim victory in the U23 Elite Cross-country Short Track (XCC) at the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup in Lake Placid, NY, USA.

Liv Factory Racing athlete, Tyler Jacobs, delivered a perfectly timed sprint to secure the top spot with a finishing time of 22:30. The victory marked a double milestone: Jacobs' first career World Cup win and the global debut of Liv's brand-new Pique Prototype. A breakthrough moment for the rising U23 star.

“It's my first race on this bike. To take a win on it is, yeah, it's so cool. Pretty dreamy,” Jacobs shared after the finish.

“The Pique Prototype was designed with input from our athletes, and seeing Tyler take it straight to a World Cup victory is the best validation we could ask for,” said Jen Audia, Global Liv Product Marketing Manager. “This bike is built to give riders that extra edge in speed, control, and confidence — and Tyler showed exactly what it’s capable of.”

With this victory, Jacobs adds another milestone to her already impressive season and proves she’s a rising force to watch in the U23 field.

As the World Cup continues, all eyes will be on the Liv Factory Team and this new prototype as they continue to push the limits on the world stage.
