Geoptimaliseerde aerodynamica
In ons streven naar maximaal vermogen en efficiëntie analyseren we hoe de fiets en rijder de luchtstroom ervaren bij elke snelheid en richting, zowel op de computer als in de windtunnel. De nieuwe EnviLiv heeft afgeknotte ellipsvormige aërodynamische buisvormen en een geheel nieuwe Contact Aero-cockpit, met afgeplatte toppen en diepere drops, voor minder weerstand en extra controle, en betere algehele aerodynamische prestaties.
Efficiënt sprinten
De aerodynamica wordt door veel factoren beïnvloed, waarvan er twee elkaar vaak uitsluiten: stijfheid en gewicht. Maar de nieuwe EnviLiv heeft de sweet spot gevonden, met eersteklas ruwe carbonvezel en geavanceerde fabricagetechnieken, wat resulteert in een grotere stijfheid-gewichtsverhouding dan de vorige generatie.
Naadloze integratie
Als elke seconde ertoe doet, doet elk detail dat ook. Daarom hebben we een nieuwe manier ontwikkeld om kabels door het stuur, de stuurpen en het frame te leiden, wat de aerodynamische prestaties verbetert en het ook gemakkelijker maakt om je fiets te demonteren voor reizen en onderhoud. Twee aerodynamische bidonhouders zijn naadloos geïntegreerd met de zitbuis en de onderbuis, waardoor de luchtweerstand verder wordt verminderd.

An oversized bottom bracket/chainstay area features a fully integrated, 86.5mm wide bottom bracket design. Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the drive side and stability on the non-drive side.

Aerosystem Shaping Technology
Data compiled from Computational Fluid Dynamics research and wind-tunnel tests was used to optimize the shape of every frameset tube and junction for overall system aerodynamics.
