Liv Racing Collective athlete Isabella Naughton races to second at the Big Mountain Enduro finale in Montana, USA, and secures second place in the overall standings.

The final stage of the Big Mountain Enduro series unfolded over the weekend at Montana's Big Sky Resort. Isabella Naughton finished in second place in the Pro Women's category, securing the second-place position for the overall season onboard her Intrigue LT Advanced Pro.

Spanning two action-packed days, the event consisted of four stages per day and over 9,000 feet of descending. "I felt excited and ready leading up to this race. Big Sky has always been one of my favorite venues." Naughton reflected after the race. "I prepared by taking my time in practice to know my lines and feel comfortable on some of the steep, muddy stages. I overcame a lot of fears this weekend and I think that helped a lot with being in the right mindset to race each stage. "

The steep, technical terrain was made more difficult with heavy rain that caused the track to become muddy and slippery. The downpour commenced before practice on Wednesday, lingering throughout the weekend adding an extra layer of complexity to the course. "The race was a hectic one. The tracks were slick and made for some interesting racing. I did the best I could to stay off the ground and try to ride a smooth and consistent race." added Naughton.

The Liv Racing Collective athlete concluded the final event of the BME season with a solid second-place finish in the overall points standings. "I’m happy with second as well as second in the series overall. Although, I am excited to keep working hard to improve my skills and speed." Naughton heads to France next for the final two rounds of the UCI Mountain Bike Enduro World Cup.
