| What's your favorite Liv bike? | |
| Why do you ride? | I love being out for a long time in the sun and how free you feel, how fast you can go on quiet roads and the places and distance you can go, you can explore so much more on a bike |
| When did you first realize you loved cycling? | I think when I first started cycling to my run club, it was always quicker than driving and it helped me warm up and warm down for hard sessions and I started recovering a lot more quickly |
| What does the future of cycling look like to youhat does the future of cycling look like to you? | Already in the last few years I have seen a massive boost in female cycling, in sponsorships, viewing figures and I think thats the future of our sport, breaking female barriers from entry level to the females making a living out of it and making it just as much a global sport as mens cycling |
| What do you wish you knew when you were starting out as a cyclist? | I wish I knew to eat snacks! When I first went on a group ride, coming from being a middle distance runner I had never eaten whilst exercising and I thought they were super greedy with all their snacks in their back pockets until I bonked big time at two hours and struggled my way home!!! |
| Who inspires you? | My mum inspires me, she was a working doctor whilst bringing up three kids and we all loved different things and she supported us in all we did, making sure after school she could get us to three different sports clubs, music lessons etc so we could pursue what we loved doing whilst always being loved and supported |
| How do you hope to have an impact on the next generation of cyclists? | I hope I can help break the barriers the prevents females getting into cycling, to make it more easily accessible and for kids to grow up seeing their mum loving cycling and getting into that positive momentum of building through the generations |
