What are some of your notable cycling career results and/or achievements? |
|
What's your favorite Liv bike? | Langma because I love to climb everything. It handles fast decents and sharp corners with ease all the while being light and responsive. |
What is your favorite Liv gear? Why do you love it? | Rev Pro MIPS helmet. I have a really small head and for the longest time could never find an adult helmet that fit. Having have had brain surgery and a subsequent acquired brain injury I know how important it is to protect our brains. Finally having a high quality helmet option made for women is so important to me. |
How did you get into cycling? | I was introduced to cycling by a woman when I was in college. |
I am committed to... | spreading kindness, achieving equity for disabled athletes, protecting the earth. |
What piece of advice would you give to your 13-year-old self? | You will grow to be a strong, fierce and independent woman when you stop trying to impress others and use your platform and voice for what you believe. |
Why do you ride? | I ride for adventure, competition, passion and breaking barriers. |
Who inspires you? | I am inspired by Kathrine Switzer, Amelia Armstrong and my late grandmother. |
What's your secret talent? | I can still do an arial (cartwheel with no hands) |
