Team Liv AlUla Jayco finds that winning feeling

With a fresh racing season set to kick off this weekend at the Tour Down Under, Team Liv AlUla Jayco has started the year in style; finishing on the podium of every elite women’s race at the national road race championships. Ruby Roseman-Gannon became a 3-time national champion taking wins in the criterium and road race. Meanwhile, Georgie Howe took 3rd in the elite women’s time trial.

In a spectacular display of determination and teamwork, Liv AlUla Jayco took the Australian National Road Championships by storm, securing multiple podium finishes across various events.

The first event of the championships, it was Georgie Howe who showcased her raw power by claiming an impressive third place in the individual time trial. Howe finished just 36 seconds behind the leader, a brilliant way to kick off the weekend of racing for the team and certianly set the standard for what was to come.

Ruby Roseman-Gannon stole the spotlight with a brilliant solo performance in the women's criterium race. Attacking early in the race and bringing only opne breakaway companion with her, Ruby showed she was the strongest on the day securing her second career criterium title, while her teammates Georgia Baker and Alex Manly dominated the podium places in the bunch sprint.

In her reflection on the race, Roseman-Gannon expressed, “The race was good, a bit windy and nice weather... I’m really happy to win today. In the end, we got one, two, three so I can’t thank the girls enough, it’s such a great team to race with and what a great way to start the year.”

Continuing their remarkable performance, Liv AlUla Jayco continued to shine in the road race. Ruby Roseman-Gannon, already a criterium champion, clinched the Australian Road Race Championship in a thrilling sprint finale in Ballarat. Teammate Alexandra Manly secured the bronze medal, contributing to the teams 6 medals from a possible 9 

Reflecting on her victory, Roseman-Gannon expressed, “I’m in shock... I think everyone was just on another level, we had the team meeting before and everyone was 100% in. It’s an Australian team, and it means so much to bring it back to Europe, so I can’t thank the girls enough. I’ve done a lot of work for this moment.”

Liv AlUla Jayco's success at the Australian National Road Championships marks a dream start to the 2024 season. It doesn't stop there though, the team line up on Friday to begin their Tour Down Under campaign in Adelaide, and with this red hot form - they will be a force to be reckoned with
