Liv Factory Racing's Ronja Blochlinger defends her national title in U23-XCO and Linda Indergand takes home a hard-fought 3rd place in Women's Elite Cross-Country Olympic XCO.

The UCI Swiss National Championships took place over the weekend in Crans Montana, Switzerland. Liv Factory Racing athletes Ronja Blochlinger and Linda Indergand put on a fierce display of talent with strong podium results.

In the Women's Elite Cross-Country Short Circuit XCC, both athletes battled on their Pique Advanced Pro 29 0. Due to the lack of a U23 category, Blochlinger had to "race up" into the Elite class. Despite the heavy field, Blochlinger secured an impressive second-place finish with a time of 21:05.3, a mere four seconds behind was teammate Indergand, who landed in fifth place.

On Sunday, in the U23 Women's Cross-Country Olympic XCO, Blochlinger continued her streak and raced to first place. The win allows her to hold on to the leader's jersey as she defends her national title in U23-XCO. "The race suited me well. There were a lot of really steep climbs and some fun downhill. I kept ahead of the other riders on the downhills to create gaps, as I knew my strengths were in those areas. I am happy to take the win and hold onto the jersey" said Blochlinger.

Indergand returned to the track in the Women's Elite Cross-Country Olympic XCO and finished with a third-place podium spot. "I fought hard till the end, I really wanted to take home a medal. With two laps to go, I knew I was in fourth place so I made one final pass to finish in third. My parents came to watch me race, it's always nice to have family cheering on the sidelines. I am happy with my result and I'm looking forward to Lenzerheide.” Reported Indergand after the race.
