The first round of the CIC Swiss Bike Cup took place in Gränichen over the weekend, Liv Factory Racing athlete Linda Indergand finished fourth in the Elite Women's Cross-country Olympic XCO, riding the new Pique Advanced 29 0 finishing in 1:25:57, a mere second off third place.
The challenging XCO course, known for its gravel pits, was made trickier this year by slippery conditions due to the weather. "I had a good start out of the gate but had to pace myself as the laps continued. The other racers were riding strong and I am happy with my result".
After winning the overall in the CIC Swiss Bike Cup last season, this fourth-place finish puts Indergand in a strong position to start the season. "It's been a good start, and I'm excited for the next round," she said optimistically.
