To kickstart the season, we connected with Giant Bicycles to build a training series for everyone from the gravel-curious to hardcore dirtaholics.

The fun starts with an eight-week Gravel Grinders training plan and ends with a bang thanks to a fast and furious series of races so short you can call them micro-races.

That doesn’t mean they won’t hurt.

First up is the offroad-specific training plan. It prepares you for the specific demands of gravel racing, where gearing, traction, and cadence all take on new dimensions.

Designed by Matt Lieto, a professional triathlete, gravel racer, and coach with Endurance Collaborative.  We come together each Wednesday to tackle the "must-do" workout of each week.

Join us throughout the series for a featured workout with Giant and Liv ambassadors at the helm. Scheduled riders include:

Brendan “Trekky” Johnston — Brendan didn’t waste any time getting down to business in 2022. He started his year off with a 3rd place finish at The Aussie Road Championships on the road before diving headfirst into the Giant Gravel Grinders training plan. So if you have any questions, he’s the guy to ask. 
Jon Odams — A master of all things dirt and Trekky’s teammate, Jonny brings the fun, a whole lot of MTB history, and a deep love for donuts.  
Peta Mullens or Tilly Field will be leading the Liv charge. Peta is a force in Australian cycling. Whether it’s MTB, Gravel, CX, or Road, she’s done it all! Tilly is her up-and-coming apprentice. She began 2022 with a stellar ride at the Australian Road Nationals!
Both Tilly and Peta will prepare for Roxsolt’s alternate calendar with the Gravel Grinders training plan.
