Liv Racing enduro athlete Isabella Naughton made her way onto her second elite podium of the season Sunday at Big Mountain Enduro round one in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

The two-day enduro covered 35 miles and 8,290ft of climbing and descending on rocky, raw trails based at Glorieta Camps. Naughton tackled the rugged course aboard her Hail Advanced.

“The stages were super loose, dry and dusty but a lot of fun,” said Naughton. “I felt pretty comfortable on my Hail before the race began, but my favorite part of the race was getting to do the Yeti drop at the bottom of stage 6 in front of hundreds of spectators.”

This year is the 18 year old’s first racing against the elite women, but she is already making a name for herself. Naughton finished fifth overall in a stacked class of 27, with a race-best finish of third on stage two. She heads to Canada in two weeks to compete in round two of the North American Enduro Series in Revelstoke.
